Featured Wines of the Week

Each week, we feature two or three new wines! Check back weekly to see what's new and join us Fridays on the Virtual Tastings to meet the wine makers and importers to learn more.

We are returning to the famous Rhone Valley this week, to try three amazing French wines.  These wines grow in a territory called Costieres de Nimes, which is the Southwestern most part of the Rhone Valley, giving each of them a light, Mediterranean flare. The grapes are grown in sandy deposits and red shale, handpicked by good, honest farmers, and fermented in steel with natural yeast. These bottles will remind you of the magic of French wine and pair exquisitely with food!

Tropical and balanced is the best way to describe this blend of Grenache blanc and Roussane. A dry but fruity wine, with a nose of tree fruits and a palate rich in citrus and floral flavors. You'll find apple, peach, grapefruit, and jasmine all harmoniously present.

Maz Caz Rose

Rhone Valley, France

This rose tends to be hard to find, but we love it! It blends Grenache and Syrah for a very dry and bold wine. The nose is heavy on the red fruits, but the palate is a blend of blackberry, strawberry, and cherry.

Suggested pairing:
Garlic Pork Loin or Mandarin Orange Salad
