Good morning friends!

We know that every time we turn on the news, it seems like another political debate is erupting in front of us. There are so many big issues and tremendous hurts in the world, and we know there are many important causes to care about right now.

If you have a moment, we would like to ask for your support. Next week, the US Trade Representative's office will be voting on a new round of tariffs for European goods. This all started last October over negotiations to eliminate subsidies for Airbus (a European competitor of America's Boeing.) Since then, European wines have been subject to a 25% tariff.

The proposal that is being voted on next week, would raise tariffs on European wine to 100%.

Many of the wine importers we work with depend on European wine for 80-100% of their portfolio. They are not in a financial position to continue importing wine if these tariffs are passed.

Please help us by signing the petition here. There is a button at the bottom of the screen for customers to sign and show their support for the industry. The deadline to do so is Sunday, July 26th.

As we said, we know there is lots of news coming at us from every angle and lots of issues to care about right now. We appreciate your consideration to make sure we can continue enjoying many of the wines we have all come to love!
