Recipe: Tomato Burrata Salad

This salad is really light and quick to make, but so flavorful! I think it goes great with a hearty, dry white wine (like the one we are tasting this Friday!) Try it and let me know what you think:


  • Ripe tomatoes (for a colorful plate presentation, you can use different sizes, shapes, and types of tomatoes)

  • Olive oil

  • Basil

  • Burrata


  1. Slice the tomatoes into thin slices (1/4 inch thick)

  2. Slice the burrata into similar shaped pieces

  3. Arrange on serving plates with a layer of burrata over a layer of tomatoe slices

  4. Drizzle with olive oil

  5. Garnish with basil leaves
