Recipe: Sun Dried Tomato Sauce

This pasta sauce is so tasty, and compliments both a white or a red wine. I’d serve this over tortellini, paired with an Italian white wine, but it would be great over any pasta!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup half and half

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella

  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan

  • ¼ cup chopped sun dried tomatoes

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat the cream and butter in a saucepan over medium heat until almost boiling, but do not boil.

  2. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, and stir until melted.

  3. Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Remove from heat and serve over your favorite pasta.
