Recipe: Sun Dried Tomato Sauce
This pasta sauce is so tasty, and compliments both a white or a red wine. I’d serve this over tortellini, paired with an Italian white wine, but it would be great over any pasta!
Ingredients
1 cup half and half
3 tablespoons butter
½ cup shredded mozzarella
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
¼ cup chopped sun dried tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat the cream and butter in a saucepan over medium heat until almost boiling, but do not boil.
Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, and stir until melted.
Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and serve over your favorite pasta.
