Recipe: Grilled Tuna Steaks
A grilled Tuna steak makes for a light dinner that is filling. Tuna also pairs really well with red varietals, like Gamay or other French wines. Here's an easy recipe to try.
Fresh tuna steaks (approx 1 pound each)
Ground black pepper
Preheat your grill to the highest heat
Brush the tuna steaks with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper (to taste--but don't over do it.
Grill the steaks on each side for just a quick 2 minutes. You really don't want to overcook Tuna, or it it will be tough and fishy. The center should be raw, like sushi.
Remove from the grill and allow to cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
