Featured Bourbon: Battle Point

This week, we are excited to introduce you to one of our favorite distilleries: Bainbridge. Bainbridge is a family-run distillery in Washington, that prides itself on making all of their spirits from scratch with their own organically grown and processed grains. Their sustainably made whiskeys, vodkas, and gins have been award winning, and definitely some of our favorites here at the shop.
Battle Point (Bainbridge Island, Washington)

Battle point is one of Bainbridge's most popular spirits. A wheat whiskey, it is fermented with a unique combination of yeasts typically used in Scotch production. It is then double distilled and aged for 2 years in new, charred, American white oak barrels. The flavor profile is rich and complex, with notes of vanilla, eucalyptus and sherry, and a nose of fresh smokey char, and a lingering finish with a bit of salt-air brine from the Pacific Northwest. This whiskey is a 3-time winner of "World's Best Wheat Whiskey."
