Featured Bourbon: Ella Jones

We've brought in a new bourbon this week that we've never carried before. Meet Ella Jones, a straight bourbon whiskey made right here in Colorado by the Jones Family Distillery, and the reviews are fantastic.

This straight bourbon whiskey is home grown here in Colorado using 100% Colorado grains, all grown by sisters Stephanie & Felicia Ohnmacht (Colorado farmers and personal friends of the distillers) . It uses a mash bill of 75% corn, 15% rye and 10% malted barley and aged about 3 years in Charred, White Oak 53-gallon barrels. You'll find notes of brûléed vanilla sugar, toasted sweet corn, dark cherry and light smoke. The distiller recommend using it in a whiskey mule, but we find it is also great straight up or on the rocks. 94 proof
