Beaujolais Nouveau Village 2020
It's Beaujolais season!
If you're new to wine, or a long time wine lover, you might be hearing people talk about Beaujolais right now. Here are a few things you should now about this seasonal wine:
The annual batch of Beaujolais Nouveau is released on the third Thursday in France each year. When there's not a pandemic, this is normally celebrated at 12:01 am with fireworks and celebration.
Beaujolais Nouveau is a young wine (hence the nouveau, which means "new.") It is a selection of the Beaujolais wines that will age much longer to become Beaujolais.
This small batch of young wine is released each year as a celebration of the harvest as the barrels of wine gathered this year are sealed for aging.
Beaujolais Nouveau village is cherry red in color, fruity, and best served chilled.
The best of the Beaujolais Nouveau is given the title "Beaujolais Nouveau Village" and is made from the highest quality batches of the young grapes.
We are fully stocked with Beaujolais Nouveau Village! Pick up a bottle (or two) to celebrate everything you are grateful for this year!
